What the opened line is showing
The rep is at 111.6% of quota on a plan that pays 8% up to quota and 12% above it, marginal, so the two rates blend: 89.6% of the measure earned 8% and 10.4% earned 12%, which is the 0.08415771 on the line. The tier table shows that split rather than asking anyone to take the blended rate on trust.
Had the plan been cliff instead, the whole basis would have earned 12% and this line would read $2,700.00. Both are real plans. The plan language covers the distinction, and why it has no default.
What a rep can do from here
In the product this arrives by email, opens without a password, and carries a button to query any line. A query goes to whoever runs commission with the line attached, and whatever they write back is shown to the rep word for word.
